About Kari & Rob

We are originally from Victoria, BC; moving to Durham Bridge, NB in 2017. Our decision to move to New Brunswick enabled us to start our dream of running a campground a lot sooner than originally planned. As a young at heart and energetic couple we wanted a small business that will keep us active in retirement.

While on Vancouver Island we spent a lot of time camping and fishing when our kids were young. We had a truck with an in-box camper, and towed our boat. Our camping adventures took us from Southern coast of Vancouver Island, to some of the Gulf Islands, to way up north to Beaverlodge and all sorts of places in between! One of our favorites we returned to each year for Labour Day weekends was the Alberni Inlet on Vancouver Island where we camped and fished with 4 generations of family.

Making memories camping and fishing with our kids has always been a highlight for us as a family. Now that our kids are grown, we have come back to the camping lifestyle. Living along the Nashwaak River and the NB Trail has allowed us access to activities we enjoy. We just love living here and are still making memories!

Living on site and being available to help we feel is key to creating a great camping experience for others, that is our goal, and we enjoy it! Our campground is a place to slow down, relax and enjoy a campfire under the stars and along the river, it is also a place to go on a river adventure or ride the trails!
